Kharkiv is the most well-groomed city in Ukraine

At the same time, 75% of respondents called Kharkiv “definitely well-groomed”. The second place in the ranking went to Lutsk, where 20% of respondents gave such a high rating (and 88% of residents responded positively overall). 

In addition, Kharkiv took the top spot in the ranking for a number of services. In particular, the city has become the country's leader in garbage collection, with 85% of residents giving it a good rating. 

Kharkiv also ranked among the top three in terms of service provision in the following areas: transport infrastructure, public transport; ecology, environment. The majority of respondents from Kharkiv gave “excellent” and “good” answers. Vinnytsia and Ternopil, cities far from the frontline, took the top spots. 

The survey was conducted by the Rating Sociological Group on behalf of the Center for Analysis and Sociological Research of the International Republican Institute in 21 regional centers not controlled by Russia. It involved 16.8 thousand urban residents aged 18 and older.
