Utility Company Kharkiv Municipal Company for Waste Management received international technical assistance.

As part of the Emergency Recovery Programme implemented by the Japan International Cooperation Agency and the Government of Ukraine, the Kharkiv-based utility received two backhoe loaders and a crawler bulldozer.

According to the company, this equipment will be used to deal with the waste from the destruction, which, due to its large volume and size, is one of the biggest problems for the City and neighbouring communities during the war.

"Thanks to international technical assistance, we will be able to significantly speed up the process of processing, removing and disposing of the demolition waste, as we are still waiting for equipment to disassemble, load, grind, and remove this waste," the Company noted.
