Kharkivvodokanal is repairing communications in Piatykhatky
Specialized operational unit repairmen of the "Kharkivvodovidvedennia" complex are servicing 28 km of external sewage pipelines and internal building systems in 47 multistory buildings in the Piatykhatky settlement.
As reported by the head of the unit, Oleg Yasko, the craftsmen promptly address emergency situations and the consequences of enemy shelling since they themselves reside in Piatykhatky. According to him, all facilities of the complex are ready to connect services to residents who have not yet returned to Kharkiv.
"First of all, we are repairing the damage. Last year, emergencies were resolved at 100 addresses. Simultaneously, we planned reconstructions in 40 buildings for water supply systems and 47 for sewage, where over 300 meters of pipelines were replaced. This year, we have scheduled extensive repairs, including the replacement of over 220 meters of internal building communications. Specifically, we are completing the renovation of a 70-meter section of sewage networks in a building on Haceva Street. Since the beginning of the year, we have conducted comprehensive technical inspections in four buildings, replacing 60-70 meters of water supply and sewage networks," - Oleg Yasko explained.
He also mentioned that last year, preventive works were carried out on 19 km of external sewage networks in the settlement. Craftsmen cleared communications, repaired wells, and installed new manholes. Today, they restored another damaged sewage well with a replacement lid.
