Igor Terekhov: We are preparing for the heating season almost around the clock

“We cannot enter the winter with such a power supply system, because all other utilities depend on it. The situation is very serious, so investments in the energy sector are needed now,” emphasized Igor Terekhov.

According to him, the necessary equipment will be purchased at the expense of the city budget and government subventions. In addition, Kharkiv will soon sign an agreement with the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development to provide the city with EUR 25 million for winterization.

“We are working almost around the clock, as we need to restart all energy, water and heat supply systems. And we have only a few months to do all this,” said Igor Terekhov.
