Fan-zone for Euro-2012 was presented to journalists

 

Nadia Rosynska, trustee of Euro-2012 fan-zone informed that fan-zone is able to hold up to 50 thousand people simultaneously. More than 500 people will be involved in operation of fan-zone. These are mostly Kharkiv specialists but there are also experts from Kiev.

 

«Fan-zone is 99,9% ready. All the equipment is carried, communications are wired. All the staff is ready and they are all in a good mood despite the fact that it was a great deed to organize such a fan-zone in four months,» - marked a trustee.

Nadia Rosynska pointed that the admission will be free except the concerts on non-match days and the price of a ticket will be up to 150 hrivnas.

 

Media Center that will operate on the square is designed for 200 people. 100 of the places are sitting places. VIP-zone is for more than 300 places. Law enforcement on the square and surrounding areas will be provided by police and private security firms as well.   

 

Except Kharkiv fan-zone Nadia Rosynska supervises Kyivsku fan-zone as well. She emphasized that Kharkiv fan-zone is ”more cozy and compact”. She noted that in addition to drinks and food one can purchase a symbolic souvenirs of championship and also ethnical products – embroidery, «zozylutsi» etc.

 

We remind that official Euro-2012 fan-zone opening will be tomorrow, June, 7. The beginning of the ceremony is at 19:00.
