Kharkiv schools will work in one shift.

 

Olga Demenko, the head of the Department of Education informed about it on August, 9.

 

According to her information, in the mid-2000s many of the popular schools of Kharkiv had to work in two shifts.

 

«Five years ago there were 11 schools of such a type. But on September, 1 2012 there will be four of them. Only about 400 students of these schools will attend classes in the second shift. We are working hard to eliminate second shifts at schools. I think in a few years we will smoothly come to one-shift educational system in all the Kharkiv schools. It is convenient for parents and it gives a proper day regimen for the child », -  Olga Demenko specified.
