Africans asphalt roads in Kharkiv

There are people from Nigeria, Ghana, Cameroun. They came to “Parking+” without any experience of such a work but they mastered the profession during a very short time and recommended themselves very well. The African brigade worked at Vosstania square, at Pushkinska street, Rymarska, Plekhanovska and many other streets of the city. Now the workers are preparing a part of the road on Gagarin avenue for asphalting.
As the chief of the department of “Parking+” Ltd. Gennady Lapatan told, the brigade of African workers is considered to be one of the best. “A certain time ago we were brave enough to hire them and now we are satisfied with their work greatly. For three years they have become excellent, professional workers in area od asphalting, and we appreciate it greatly. They are able to work both at asphalting machines and asphalt the sidewalks with hands. They make all the works from beginning to end. This brigade is very responsible, we may give them any job. They are always very professional in their work.”, - Gennady Lapatan noticed. He also admitted that all the Africans work in the firm legally.
According to his words the team of African workers communicates to their Ukrainian colleagues very well, and there is no race conflicts or misunderstandings.
As the master of the turn Felix Omoruna who leads five workers said, the Africans are satisfied with their job. Each of them had studied in Kharkiv and had got a higher education. The graduates of Kharkiv highway university and Kharkiv agriculture university work in the brigade. Felix Omoruna himself graduated the economical department of Kharkiv national university named by V.N. Karazin in 1991. “You know there are a lot of Africans working at “Barabashova” market. But not everyone is able to sell. I do not like to be involved in trade the same as the other guys of our brigade. I think we have a good job. This job is not for lazy people. We all have wives, children and we must earn their living, and we are able to do it.” – Felix Omoruna told.
The Nigerian also opened a small secret which allows his brigade to show good results: none of African workers smokes, which means there is no necessity to make smoking breaks and interrupt working.
