A large international delegation visited Kharkiv

An international delegation made a working visit to Kharkiv on April 20.
It included the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kingdom of Denmark in Ukraine Ole Egberg Mikkelson, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Estonia in Ukraine Anneli Kolk, Deputy Head of the Swedish Diplomatic Mission in Ukraine Kasper Anderson, Deputy Head of the French Diplomatic Mission in Ukraine Benjamin Roehrig, and Permanent Representative of the UNDP in Ukraine Jaco Cilliers.
The Ministry of Infrastructure of Ukraine was the organizer of the delegates' visit to Kharkiv. The delegation also included Deputy Prime Minister for the Reconstruction of Ukraine Oleksandr Kubrakov and People's Deputy Olena Shulyak.
During the day, the participants visited Northern Saltivka, destroyed objects of critical infrastructure and an underground school in the Industrialnyi district.
During a conversation with delegates at one of the facilities, Mayor of Kharkiv Ihor Terekhov noted that the City already has a detailed plan for restoring the heat supply system with all the calculations, and at the same time emphasized that without the support of Kharkiv's partners, it will be very difficult to get through the next heating season without interruptions.
"We know which factories and countries have the necessary equipment for us. And, what is important, it is available and ready for use, we do not have to wait for it. This is very important, because there is very little time left to purchase, install, and connect it to the general system. We need your help, because the people of Kharkiv are not going to leave the City and will live here in the winter," said the Mayor.
Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kingdom of Denmark to Ukraine Ole Egberg Mikkelson stated during the briefing that the main purpose of the delegates' visit is to focus attention on the problems of Kharkiv.
"I saw with my own eyes what is happening here. And I was surprised by the fact that the City is alive, transport is working, many people are on the streets, despite all the enemy attacks. Kharkiv residents are very resilient people. I will return to the capital of my country with the appeal that this unbreakable city must be helped. We received a clear message from the City authorities that you need to get through the winter normally. I will do everything to ensure that Denmark provides this support," said Ole Egberg Mikkelson.
