In Kharkiv, expenditures on security and infrastructure restoration have increased

The corresponding decision was made today, 30 April, at an extraordinary session of the City Council.
 
As reported in the Department of Budget and Finance, this is due to the need to bring the volumes of interbudgetary transfers in line with the resolution and order of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine and the orders of the head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, according to which the City budget, in particular, provides an additional subsidy from the state budget for the exercise of the powers of local bodies self-government in the amount of UAH 1.16 billion, as well as a subvention for liquidation of the consequences of armed aggression - UAH 604.3 million.
 
In this regard, expenditures on the restoration of destroyed facilities of the communal thermal power industry were increased by UAH 870 million, the maintenance and repair of the street and road network by UAH 142.2 million, the construction of protective structures on the territory of schools by UAH 138.3 million . In addition, UAH 16.8 million was directed to the protection of the civilian population and the improvement of the level of public security.
