The reconstructed stadium “Dinamo” was opened in Kharkiv

The celebration of the stadium opening was devoted to the 20th anniversary of Independence of Ukraine, the 87th anniversary of Physical training and sports association “Dinamo” of Ukraine and the 80th anniversary of the stadium.
The president of PTA “Dinamo”, the people deputy of Ukraine Victor Korzh, the head of Dzerzhinsky district administration Vladimir Kotkovskiy, master of sports of international level on alpinism, the honored citizen of Kharkiv Sergey Bershov, public persons, outstanding sportsmen participated in the celebration.
“It is really pleasant to stay at my native renovated stadium which is a sports heart of the city. Today this stadium experiences not even the second but the third, the fourth or even the fifth birth. It tells that the city needs the stadium. And your presence is the best confirmation of this fact, - Victor Korzh admitted when addressing people present at the celebration. – we are making an important deal and there is no alternative to it. It is a modern sports construction and it will serve you for dozens years. Generations of the champions of Europe, world champions and Olympic champions brought up here will transfer the best sports traditions to next generations”.
After the testimonial ceremony of cutting the ribbon they gave certificates of honor to the range of guests “For the considerable personal contribution into development of physical culture and sports, popularization of Physical culture and sports association “Dinamo” of Ukraine”, also certificates of honor of Kharkiv regional department of NOC of Ukraine “For the considerable contribution into development of Olympic movement in Kharkiv region”.
Then there was a ceremony of initiation into young members of “Dinamo” association of the fresh sportsmen of children and youth school of Olympic reserve of “Dinamo”.
