An International Festival of Chamber music will be in Kharkiv

From the 8th to the 15th of September the II International festival of chamber music and Academy “Musical evenings” will be in concert and organ halls of Kharkiv philharmonic hall.


The main attractive point of the festival is master-class of violin lessons by famous teacher Natalia Boyarskaya. Now she teaches at Jegudy Menukhin school and Royal music college in Great Britain. During a week young kharkovites will be able to master their play for free.
«It is a huge success for Kharkiv. I would be happy to have such a possibility. But I had to go to London to get Natalia Boyarskaya lessons, - the art director of the festival Vladimir Sokolov said, - Her students won prises at international conquests, many of them became successful musicians all over the world».
A special event of the festival is a retrospective of Bruno Mosentjohn films on the 11th of September in concert hall of the philharmonic hall. The musical film of famous French violin player, writer and film director about legendary musicians became world famous. 10 best films by him will be presented to Kharkiv national university of arts named by I.Kotlyarevsky.
Concert on tribute of the honorable citizen of Kharkiv Vladimir Krainev will be on the 12th of September.
Among more than 50 participants of the festival there is one of the best cellist of the world Gary Gofman, world famous “Shymanovsky quartet” and many other famous musicians of Munich, Paris, London, Argentina and countries of North America..

II International Festival of chamber music and Academy “Musical evenings” will be under patronage of the mayor of Kharkiv Gennadiy Kernes and the head of Kharkiv regional administration Mikhail Dobkin.
