Kharkiv will develop a strategy to bring IT workers back to the City

Mayor of Kharkiv Ihor Terekhov today, on the 12th of December, took part in the general meeting of the Kharkiv IT Cluster.
The meeting was held in the format of teleconference: one part of the participants was in Kharkiv, the other - in Kyiv and Warsaw.
During his speech, Ihor Terekhov suggested that IT workers should create together a strategy for returning programmers to Kharkiv. According to the Mayor, today the City faces many difficult tasks, one of which is to maintain favourable conditions for the normal functioning of the IT sector.
"Thank you for your work and the help you provide to the City and the front! We need to develop a step-by-step action plan to bring even more IT workers back to Kharkiv. We want to attract the IT-community to cooperate with international partners", Ihor Terekhov emphasised.
In turn, the Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Kharkiv IT Cluster Oleksandr Medovyi noted that, despite the war, in 2023 the organization managed to significantly increase the number of its partners.
"Our priorities were and still are to work and support the economy of the country and our City, in particular, to help the army and invest in the future of the ІТ-sphere", said Oleksandr Medovyi.
