Round table conference dedicated to the problems of stray animals was held in Kharkiv

 

The Department of housing services, public organizations in protection of animals and ecology, veterinaries and experts took part in the meeting.

 

Yulia Shapovalova, the director of the communal enterprise "Animal handling centre", emphasized that they haven’t faced any single complaint on the health of the pets that were taken from the center. "Most of the animals settled in the shelter are healthy, have double vaccination, have immunoresistance. We are regularly checked by municipal and regional administrations, each day experts ascertain that things are well with us," - the center's director said.

 

According to Yulia Shapovalova the center is opened for all-comers including animal rights organizations who would like to check the shelter. However, there is a procedure that must be followed. In particular, one should be granted the status of social inspector.
