Days of Iran culture will be held in Kharkiv

 

Mekhdi Bagai, Esfahan city deputy mayor in social and cultural questions informed about it on September, 19.

 

During the visit Iran guest met with Igor Terekhov, Kharkiv deputy mayor in questions of development and life support of the city.

 

Igor Terekhov told Mekhdi Bagai about the development of Kharkiv, its success in the sphere of international cooperation, high level of organization of matches during UEFA EURO 2012 and other economic, social and cultural achievements of the city.

 

In his turn  Mekhdi Bagai specified that Esfahan is interested in establishing cultural ties with kharkiv. He noted that Kharkiv and  Esfahan are very similar as Iran city also plays important role in development of the country, and appears to be  one of scientific and cultural centers in Iran. To develop cultural ties the Iranians suggested to held the Days of Iran culture in Kharkiv. It is planned to be held in October.

 

It was also agreed that after the Days of Iran culture in Kharkiv Esfahan will organize Days of Ukrainian culture in Esfahan.

 

Mekhdi Bagai also mentioned that the authorities of Esfahan would like to establish twin-city relations in future.
