Photobook "Euroholidays in Kharkiv" was introduced in Kharkiv

 

According to Leah Khmara, the author of the project «Euroholidays in Kharkiv», the album includes selection of best works of the photographers who covered Euro 2012 events. The photobook is released in deluxe format, is notable for outsize typography and has a limited edition. The authors explain that the album is meant for foreign delegations who visit Kharkiv.

 

Initially, there were 400 photos prepared for the project but the album includes only 250 ones. The album consists of 5 parts: each day of match games, fan-zone and the part named “Emotions”. Introductory word to each part is written in Ukrainian and English languages.

 

"Football event remained not only in memory, but in the photo archive, and we have decided to share these works. The project took its beginning in July-August of the previous year, the active period of typography fell for October-November. And the first exemplars of the album were issued in early December. We aimed at creating exceptionally Kharkiv project and enclose our emotions in it, "-  Leah Khmara said.

 

The author of the project also clarified that album "Euroholidays in Kharkiv" was issued by means of sponsors, and it is possible that in the course of time it will be reissued in large circulation in other format and will be available for sale.
