Dangerous objects will be inspected in Kharkiv

Dangerous objects will be inspected on the territory of Kharkiv.

The relevant assignment to the City Commission on Technogenic and Environmental Safety and Emergency Situations was issued by Mayor of Kharkiv Ihor Terekhov today,on the 12th of February, in view of the tragic events that occurred in Nemyshlyansky district because of the enemy attack on the territory of the oil depot. This caused the deaths of Kharkiv residents, including three children, as well as the destruction of residential buildings and contamination of the Nemyshlya River with petroleum products.

According to the decision of the CTES, the special commission will be established to inspect implementation of the technogenic and fire safety requirements, labor protection and environmental legislation at chemical and explosive hazardous facilities, including oil depots and fuel and lubricant storage facilities.

"I ask businesses to understand the importance of these inspections because we must do everything in our power to prevent the awful consequences of possible attacks by the Russian Federation today," Ihor Terekhov said.
