Heating and water supply partially restored in Kharkiv

Heat and water supply, which was suspended as a result of the enemy's attack on Kharkiv's critical infrastructure in the morning, has been partially restored.

This was announced today, 22 March, by Mayor of Kharkiv Ihor Terekhov on the air of the national telethon. According to him, Kharkiv is still without electricity. Rescuers have already extinguished almost all the fires that broke out at the site of the hits. Energy services are now working to eliminate the consequences of the massive missile attack as soon as possible.

According to him, the utilities have managed to partially restore water supply. It is currently being supplied at a reduced pressure. In addition, 40,000 people have already been connected to heating. This was made possible by the launch of modular boiler houses equipped with powerful generators.

The Mayor also said that municipal buses would be running in Kharkiv during the blackout. In addition, all the City's "points of invincibility" and hot food distribution points are operating.

"We need to close the sky over Kharkiv. We need the latest air defence systems. This would make everything that is happening now impossible," said Ihor Terekhov.
