Events in support of Ukraine are held in the twin city of Lille

In the City of Lille, France, events are taking place to mark the second anniversary of the full-scale invasion by russia into Ukraine.
According to the International Cooperation Department, a solemn gathering was held today on the Kharkiv Bridge, and a demonstration took place in Republic Square. The events were organized by the municipal authorities and the association "Portail de l’Ukraine." Additionally, in a show of support for Ukraine, the City of Lille was decorated with blue and yellow colours.
Furthermore, from February 19 to March 7, the Jean Lévi Library is hosting an exhibition titled "Ukraine, European Canvas," dedicated to the history and culture of Ukraine. On Sunday, February 25, the "Don Quixote" ballet by the Kyiv Ballet will be presented at the Casino Barrière de Lille.
"There were many of us today on the Kharkiv Bridge - City Council elected members, Ukrainians, representatives of civic organizations, and families providing shelter – to express respect for the Ukrainian people who are fighting for their freedom," wrote Lille Mayor Martine Aubry on her X (Twitter) page.
