Sport arena may appear to Eurobasket-2015

 
The website of Kharkiv regional state administration informed that the chairman Mikhailo Dobkin told about it.

 

According to his words it will be difficult to built sport units with the same frequency as to the UEFA EURO 2012 but it doesn't mean that sport infrastructure won't be taken into consideration. 

 

«It is certain that European basketball championship will give us an opportunity to build new sport arena we will be able to use before, during and after the championship.

 

The place for the arena is chosen. It is near «Metalist» stadium. It will allow to have strong concentration of sports facility on rather small territory of the city – a kind of place of soundness and sport», – Mikhailo Dobkin claimed.
 

According to his words it is necessary to find the investor who is able to put up about 20-30 million US dollars in the construction of new sport arena that will be able to receive from 7 to 10 thousand of fans. The most consistent way is state and private partnership that will include the funds of the investor and the money of state and regional budgets.
