The level of illumination in Kharkiv increased

8,1 million hrivnas were used to reconstruct the nets of external illumination of Kharkov in 2010.

These means were aimed to equip quality illumination at 81 objects of the city, in particular in 11 kindergartens and 13 schools, in 5 medical institutions and also to reconstruct 52 objects of the city road net and living areas of Kharkiv.

The deputy of the director of the Department of housing maintenance and urban utilities Marina Borisenko informed of this matter at the meeting of the constant commission on industry, economical development and property on the 22^nd of June.
”As a result of the work that had been done the level of the city illumination increased on 35 almost and it have been 74% by now”, - the deputy of the director of the Department Marina Borisenko admitted.
She also told that the economic effect of providing energy saving technologies had reached 45 million hrn in 2010.
After considering the issue of energy saving technologies in the municipal economy on the foundation of developments of leading Kharkiv enterprises the deputies appealed the speaker with a proposal to itemize the complex city programme of introduction the energy saving technologies in all the directions and propose it to be considered by the specified commission.
The members of the commission also analyzed and estimated positively the run of execution of “the City Purpose Programme of Preparing and Receiving in Ukraine the Final Part of the Championship of Europe of 2012 on football” in Kharkiv according to the results of the four months of the current year.
