Official EURO-2012 fan-zone is ready to work

 

It was announced today, June, 7 at press conference by the trustee of official EURO-2012 fan-zones in Kyiv and Kharkiv, Vilen Matveev. «We are almost ready to work. At the moment we eliminate final technic trifles, adjust the territory, hold rehearsals. Since tomorrow fan-zone will function nominally», - Vilen Matveev marked.

 

In his turn mayor deputy in questions of family, youth, sports and EURO-2012 preparations Aleksandr Popov emphasized that Kharkiv fan-zone considerably excels against the other fan-zones.

«I consider our fan-zone to be the most beautiful out of eight recipient cities of Ukraine and Poland. I can tell for sure that we were not mistaken with the fan-zone operator. Today we will have official opening and a feast as to the initiative of the operator with the support of city authorities», - the mayor deputy reported.

 

Fan-zone will operate till July, 1. The organizers noted that there will be 36 retail outlets of low alcohol drinks, soft drinks and snacks; some places for special offers of sponsors and more than 100 toilet facilities. VIP-zone, media center and centre scene will continuously operate.
