National Olympic Committee awarded Kharkiv Olympians

 

The chairman of Kharkiv regional department of National Olympic Committee of Ukraine, Mykhailo Dobkin, congratulated sportsmen and their trainers during the event.

 

«A lot of our young sportsmen who took part  in Olympic games in London achieved good results and those who took part in previous Olympics, in London showed better results», - Mykhailo Dobkin emphasized.

 

Olympic champion in weight-lifting Oleksij Torokhtij and bronze prizewinner in boxing Oleksandr Gvozdik were awarded with the badges of honor of Kharkiv regional administartion «Slobozhanska slava».

 

Also Oleksij Torokhtij was given a certificate for the purchase of car and Oleksandr Gvozdik received a certificate for purchase of a flat.

 

Besides, the trainers of the sportsmen were awarded with valuable gifts. They were awarded with the watches from Kharkiv regional state administration.

 

The sportsmen thanked the administration  of the city and the region for the close attention to the sport problems, for the measures for sport development in Kharkiv and availability to help in solution of important tasks.

 

«Kharkiv allowed me to open myself. There are a lot of good people I will always be thankful to. They are Mykhailo Dobkin, Gennadiy Kernes, Viktor Hristoev. Since the first days of our acquaintance they helped to solve all the questions of sport that emerged. That is why this medal is a merit of everyone present here. I wouldn’t be able to make it on my own», - Oleksij Torokhtij emphasized. 

 

During the solemn reception the participants of  ХХХ summer Olympics in London and their trainers were also awarded with the merit certificates of regional administration, note of acknowledgment of chairman of regional state administration and the chairman of regional council.
