There will be built a media-center in Plekhanovskaya street for the time of EURO-2012 carrying out

They suppose that a part of former section of “The Plant named by Frunze”. As the main architect of the project Alexander Saratov informed the territory of the plant had been chosen because of the need of the media-center to be as close to the “Metallist” stadium as possible.

They plan to provide the media-center with halls for correspondents and photographers work, offices of UEFA representatives, cafes, sanitary and common premises. The building is designed for the work of 350 journalists and photographers. The front side which is faced to Plekhanovskaya street and Vlasovskiy lane will be made of glass completely.
After the championship the building will be redesigned as auto salon with a service center.
The first deputy of the mayor of Kharkov Alexander Krivtsov informed that the building reconstruction is made with participatory interest, and there were 2,4 million hrivnas drafted from the municipal budget.
