All the kinds of surface transport of Kharkiv are going to provide excursion tours around the city
An excursion trolley-bus rout “Kharkiv: roads of veterans” starts on the 23rd of August on the Day of the City.
A deputy of the director of the Department of International Cooperation pf Kharkiv city council Aleksey Ponikarovsky informed of it at a test excursion along the rout on the 12th of August.
He admitted that on the 23rd of August a theme excursion would be made for veterans only and later all the kharkovites and quests of the city would be able to pass along the rout.
The excursion lasting is an hour and a half.
The deputy of the director of the department also informed that trolley-bus, tram and bus excursions about the city would appear in Kharkiv since September. They will be made in spring, summer and autumn. There will be developed other routs for trolley-bus excursions besides “Kharkiv: roads of veterans”. The rout of the tram excursion will demonstrate historical and modern sights of Kharkiv. It will move from Yuzhny railway station to the main sports arena of the city “Metallist” stadium. There will be survey and theme excursions around the city. They will remind the excursionists of the war past of the city, tell of its theatre life. There will be a survey excursion on the temples of Kharkiv.
He also informed that the city plans to create excursions for those people, who like walks.
