3,6 million UAH will be given for the shelter for homeless animals of Kharkiv from the city budget

In particular, 2,6 million UAH are aimed to catch homeless animals, 800 thousand UAH to maintain the municipal center for homeless animals and 3,6 million UAH – to reconstruct a shelter for them. As Gennady Kernes admitted, the shelter will be opened in the end of May.
“Kharkovites should know where they should apply to get any help concerning homeless animals. It is necessary to organize a kind of posts, create an inspection to observe the situation with homeless dogs. We need results in this direction”, - the mayor admitted.
He also asked the kharkovites for help in looking for the people who shoot and poison homeless animals. “There are other ways to influence people who feed the animals in the yards not understanding the fact that animals could be dangerous. And we are going to use these ways”, - Genandy kernes said.
