One billion euro was spent to EURO-2012 preparations

 
These means were spent on reconstruction of air-strip of International «Kharkiv» airport and «Metalist» stadium, construction of sports foundation «Solnechnuj», renovation of automotive pass unit «Goptovka», roads construction and reconstruction, medical equipment and overhaul of hospitals, construction work of hotels and power lines, creation of media center for journalists. 

Money were also aimed at Gorkij park reconstruction, development project and construction of airport tower, reconstruction of repair running shed of South railway, creation of information centers for tourists, purchase of transport and furniture for the excursion center and much more.

We remind that 593 million hryvnas were spent for Kharkiv championship preparations. In particular, 337 millions were spent from national budget, 100 million 17 thousand from municipal budget, 44, 1 million from regional and 112,6 million from means of private investors.
