More than 160 place names are proposed to be renamed in Kharkiv

A public discussion on renaming 161 place names is being held in the City of Kharkiv.
Kharkiv residents are offered to rename a number of streets whose names are associated with the aggressor country.
Among the proposals: Vereshchahina Street should be named Myroslava Skoryka Street, Vorobiova Lane should be named Skrypnykivskyi Descent, Karamzina Street should be named Slavetna Street, and Krasnoiarskyi Lane should be named Yuriia Voronoho Lane (in honour of the Ukrainian surgeon who performed the world's first kidney transplantation).
In addition, it is proposed to rename Lomonosova Street to Lirychna Street, Tolstoho Street to Myrotvorcha Street, Cheliuskintsev 3rd entrance to Yevhena Hrebinky entrance, and Dyvnohirsky Lane to Yablonska Lane (in honour of the Ukrainian artist, Hero of Ukraine).
