Utilities have closed 90% of contours of damaged buildings

The contours of the houses that were damaged as a result of a nighttime drone attack have been closed by 90%.

This was announced today, 4 April, on the air of the national telethon by Mayor Ihor Terekhov. According to him, restoration work at the sites of the attacks has been going on since the night.

«We worked on eliminating the consequences of the attacks at night and throughout the day. We have almost completed the work on removing the emergency marks in the buildings. We have closed 90 per cent of the circuits where possible and restored electricity, water, and gas supply. We will continue to work to restore everything that the enemy has destroyed», - the Mayor said.

According to him, the situation with electricity supply in Kharkiv remains difficult. Due to a serious power shortage, blackouts are currently lasting 7-8 hours a day. Despite this, the Mayor stressed that Kharkiv citizens are staying in the Сity.

«I see no outflow of people from Kharkiv. Despite all the shelling and power cuts, Kharkiv citizens are in the Сity. This proves once again that Kharkiv is unbreakable. And I am grateful to everyone who continues to work to keep the Сity alive», - said Ihor Terekhov.
