Kharkiv will continue cooperation with Chinese twin city Jinan

 

The memorandum was signed by Zhang Haibo, the deputy mayor of Jinan and Igor Terekhov, the deputy mayor in questions of development and life support of the city on the occasion of the fifth anniversary of the establishment twinning between the cities.

 

As the document says both sides are intended to use twin relations to strengthen cooperation in the sphere of infrastructure, economic, science, medicine, ecology and local government. Kharkiv city council and People's government of Jinan city agreed that they will support the organization of common projects in tourism and sport, create and implement common programme in exchange of professional employees.

 

Upon completion of signing ceremony round-table conference was held. The conference was dedicated to economic cooperation with the participation of Chinese and Kharkiv entrepreneurship. Companies who run their business in machine industry, chemical industry, energy saving, software technology and in environmental protection field took part from the side of People's Republic of China. Kharkiv was represented by companies and communal enterprises who work in the sphere of life support of the city.
 

During the round-table conference the participants made the presentation of their business organizations, exchanged their experience and discussed the prospects of mutual cooperation.
