Kharkiv received an award from the Football Federation of Ukraine for hosting Euro-2012

 

Anatoliy Popov, the vice-president of the Football Federation of Ukraine presented Kharkiv mayor Gennadiy Kernes with the award on November, 16 during the report-election conference of Kharkiv Regional Football Federation.

 

The city mayor emphasized that this is well-deserved honour as all the Kharkiv citizens took part in preparation and hosting of the championship.

 

"We are proud of many achievements. We tell that Kharkiv has four honors of Council of Europe. We stand proud of hosting Euro-2012. It added our city to the history of European football and gave a pulse  for development», - Gennadiy Kernes emphasized.
