Kharkiv opens first ‘safety class’ in the City

Today, on February 14, Kharkiv Mayor Ihor Terekhov took part in the opening of a ‘safety class’ in a school in the Saltivskyi district.

The schoolchildren will be introduced to the rules of fire, mine safety, and civil defense as well as the algorithm of actions in case of emergencies and the procedure for providing first aid.

‘It is very important that such classes appear now so that our children receive the necessary knowledge and learn the algorithm of actions in various extreme situations. We are going to create such classes in other schools as well so that children can learn the basics of safety rules online,’ said Ihor Terekhov.

Due to constant enemy shelling, the educational process in Kharkiv is taking place online so now the ‘safety class’ in this educational institution will work in an interactive mode.
