Kharkiv establishes relations with Brazil

 

Antonio Fernando Kruz de Mello, Extraodinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Brazil in Ukraine informed about it during the meeting with Oleksandr Novak, Kharkiv town clerk on October, 16. 

 

As the Ambassador noted Brazil would like to establish relations with Kharkiv region in aerospace field, in the sphere of machinery, agriculture – in production of biofuel and agricultural equipment, and in humanitarian sphere as well. «But we have little information about each other. We need to organize entrepreneurial ambassades, hold business forums, develop connections on the level of states and regions actively. We should establish direct relations between our business operators and parties in interest. It is important that your businessmen visited Brazil along with the representatives of your authorities and get acquainted with the opportunities of cooperation. We are ready to organize such visits», - the Ambassador mentioned.

 

Therewith, Antonio Fernando Kruz de Mello informed that in the nearest future Ukrainian-Brazilian project will be organized in Kharkiv. According to previous agreement at government level, 3 thousand of Brazilian students will study in universities of Kharkiv, Kiev, Dniepropetrovsk and possibly in Lviv.

 

According to  Oleksandr Novak all the offers of Brazilian side are essential for Kharkiv and all are possible to be implemented. «As to humanitarian sphere there are about 70 higher education institutions in Kharkiv. Also there are more than 18 thousand foreign students in Kharkiv. We will render our assistance for the education of Brazilian students in our city. We really should develop our regional level of cooperation. We are interested in extension of relations with Brazil so the topics that were discussed today would have a development prospect», - Kharkiv town clerk emphasized.
