Kharkiv arena of Eurobasket 2015 will be able to hold about 15 thousand of fans

 

Oleksij Chubarov, the director of marketing and sport promotion project Department informed about it during the hot line with the newspaper «Vechirnij Kharkiv» on November, 6.

 

He explained that the arena with such a number of places is required by European basketball federation in case the city will host the final part of the championship. 

 

«We want Kharkiv to host  the final of the Eurobasket 2015 championship. That is why we plan to build such arena», - Oleksij Chubarov emphasized. He also marked that negotiations with the potential investor are in progress.

 

The arena is planned to built near near «Metalist» stadium.
