Development of twinning connections with other cities let Kharkiv get best European experience in different branches and spheres.

 
Ivan Nemichev, the director of International Collaboration Department told about it in the interview for the newspaper «Time». In particular it was managerial experience at times of local government formation in the 90s or, as an example, questions on preparation to UEFA EURO 2012.
 
«According to the transfer of experience declaration to Kharkiv came Mr. Cubanek – former director of  Nurnberg stadium who prepared the stadium to World Championship 2006 and Mr. Wer – the chief of staff on Nurnberg  preparations to World Championship 2006. The executives of Kharkiv airport and law enforcement bodies adopted the experience of their colleagues from Germany and Poland. Eventually all this helped Kharkiv to cope brilliantly with such a huge and responsible task», - Ivan Nemichev noted.
 
Also, he told about experience in medical sphere in details. At the begining of 90s there were only about 5 to 25% of children with oncohematological diseases who over came the disease. Due to the training and upgrade qualifications of Kharkiv doctors in Germany and Austria, use of modern methods and medications doctors achieve disease-free survival stage in 75-85% cases.
 
Ivan Nemichev told that different medical and social institutions of Kharkiv city received about 6 million 900 thousand hrivnas of  humanitarian help from Nurnberg for the period from 1998 to 2012.
