Ihor Terekhov: russia's psychological operation (PSYOP) should not be spread
The Russian aggressor is conducting an information special operation against Kharkiv citizens.
This was stated by Mayor Ihor Terekhov in an interview with the online publication LIGA.net.
In particular, this concerns information about an alleged new Russian offensive on the City.
"As for Russia's on-land offensive on Kharkiv, this is an enemy information operation. We should not support and disseminate their messages," said Ihor Terekhov.
The same applies to the possible evacuation of Kharkiv. The Mayor noted that there are no grounds for such measures.
"The evacuation is being carried out from the region where the fighting is ongoing. And these people are going to Kharkiv. The city now has 1.3 million residents. So far, neither we nor the military see any reason to evacuate Kharkiv. This is a part of the Russian PSYOP to intimidate and make the citizens nervous," the Mayor said.
