Ihor Terekhov awarded liquidators of the Chornobyl Nuclear Power Plant accident

The Mayor thanked the Chernobyl liquidators for their feat and active citizenship.
 
‘I remember those terrible days 38 years ago. I honour the memory of every victim and thank everyone who risked their lives to save humanity, the country and all of us from a terrible tragedy. And today, many Chernobyl victims have taken up arms and are defending us from the russian invasion,’ said Ihor Terekhov.
 
He awarded the liquidators with Certificates of Honour from the Kharkiv City Council, Certificates of Honour from the Executive Committee of the City Council and Certificates of Appreciation from the Mayor.
 
Note. The Day of Remembrance of the Victims of the Chornobyl Disaster is celebrated annually on 26 April.
