Ihor Terekhov spoke about the consequences of the daytime attack on Kharkiv

This was reported on the air of the national telethon by Mayor Ihor Terekhov.

"The central part of the Shevchenkivskyi district was shelled. There is a dead man and two wounded who are now in hospital. A school and residential buildings were damaged. The shelling smashed windows and damaged roofs. Now our utility companies are working at the scene, closing the circuits," said the Mayor.

Ihor Terekhov noted that a "point of invincibility" and a free food distribution point were deployed in the damaged school which is used by 1,500 residents of the district every day. According to him, the points were not damaged by the shelling.
