Ihor Terekhov: russians did not come closer to Kharkiv

The large-calibre guided missile strikes on Kharkiv that the enemy has been launching since last week do not mean that the russians have moved closer to the City.

This was stated by Mayor Ihor Terekhov in an interview with the LIGA.net online outlet.

"The russians have not moved closer to the City. However, they are using a new shell with a longer affection range," the Mayor said.

According to him, the enemy is mostly shelling Kharkiv from Bielhorod and the region. The occupiers are using S-300 and "shahed" missiles to terrorise the civilian population. As a result of the latest shelling, almost the entire energy infrastructure of the City was destroyed. The Mayor noted that in this way the russians are once again trying to intimidate Kharkiv citizens.

"As for the exhaustion of Kharkiv, the russians will not succeed. There is no panic in the City. Intimidation by russia does not work - people are united. Kharkiv is an outpost of Ukraine. And we are well aware of this," said Ihor Terekhov.
