Igor Terekhov held talks with officials and investors from Spain
Today, on 2 February, Kharkiv Mayor Igor Terekhov took part in the international conference «Restoring Ukraine: Opportunities for Spanish Companies», which was organised with the support of the Embassy of Ukraine in Spain.
The mayor spoke at the forum online. He invited Spanish companies to join the restoration of residential buildings and critical infrastructure damaged in Kharkiv.
According to him, the city can offer investors profitable strategies and investment projects in various areas, as it already has a step-by-step recovery plan. These include the development of transport infrastructure, housing construction, and the implementation of energy and environmental projects.
«Together with British architect Norman Foster, we are developing the city's General Plan. We have great scientific and human resources potential and are open to transparent and honest cooperation. And today, not a single project that we agreed to implement before the war with the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, the European Investment Bank, or other banks has been stopped. This year we will build two new metro stations and upgrade our public transport fleet», - Ihor Terekhov said in his speech.
As part of the development of foreign economic and international relations, the Apercon Group of Companies took part in organising an invitation to Ukrainian investment and governmental institutions and officials for the economic development and recovery of Ukraine.
