Genoa has become the twin city of Kharkiv

Italian city Genoa and Kharkiv signed cooperation agreement.

 
The signature took place on December,13  in the municipality of Genoa. Kharkiv side was represented by Igor Terekhov,  the deputy mayor in questions of development and maintenance of the city. Karl Sybille, deputy mayor in culture and tourism, signed the document from the side of Italian city Genoa.
 
The agreement has formally confirmed the intentions of both cities to establish fruitable bilateral cooperation. According to the document Kharkiv and Genoa will cooperate in cultural, engineering, scientific, tourist, commercial and other spheres.
 
At the ceremony Kharkiv was also represented by Tatiana Taukesheva, director of budget and finance Department; Svitlana Babitska, director of the Department of culture; and the chairman of Dzerjinsky administration, Volodymyr Kotkovsky.
 
Note. Genoa became the 25th twin city of Kharkiv. Genoa is a seaport town in the North of Italy. The population of the city is about 600 thousand people.
