Gennadiy Kernes met with the president of NATO Parliamentary Assembly

 

The meeting was held today, June,3 in the cabinet of the city mayor.

 

«I am glad to  welcome you in Kharkiv, in Ukraine. I know you have legal education and you used to be a deputy. This means you can give legal treatment to everything that is happening in Ukraine. Kharkiv hosted UEFA EURO 2012 lately. We had a lot of guests. I hope you have appraised Kharkiv hospitality. We work for the perspective, for revival and for the result», - Gennadiy Kernes answered.

 

In his turn  Karl Lamers thanked the mayor for the reception and expressed the confidence that Kharkiv hosted football championship honorably.

 

The president of NATO Parliamentary Assembly has already visited the Kharkiv Region State Administration and met its chairman Mikhailo Dobkin.

 

Note. NATO Parliamentary Assembly has been a interparliamentary organisation since 1995 and represents the forum  when parliamentarians of member-nations and partner-nations of NATO meet to discuss the questions of their common interest. 
 

Since 2010  Karl A. Lamers has been the president  of  NATO Parliamentary Assembly.
