Gennadiy Kernes met the Ambassador of the United States of America

The mayor of Kharkiv Gennadiy Kernes and the head of Kharkiv regional state administration Mikhail Dobkin met the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the United States of America John Francis Tefft on the 27th of September.
The meeting passed within the Days of America in Kharkiv.
The head of Kharkiv region council Sergey Chernov and the deputy of the head of Kharkiv regional state administration Yury Sapronov also participated the meeting.
“Kharkiv is a city with a serious international activity. It has a powerful scientific and technical potential. I am sure that our possibilities will give a new impulse to cooperation between our states”, - Gennadiy Kernes admitted in his speech to the Ambassador.
The issues of state of social and economical development of Kharkiv region and possibilities of cooperation with the USA regions were discussed during the meeting.
