Gennadiy Kernes: the exchange living fund will be created in Kharkiv

The mayor of Kharkiv Gennadiy Kernes informed of perspective of creating the exchange living fund in Kharkiv today at his press-conference.



Gennadiy Kernes admitted that a lot of living buildings of type project constructing which the city “inherited from the Soviet period are in unsatisfactory technical condition. It is necessary to look for new forms of developing their exploitation characteristics, first of all according to the point of energy saving. By now, as the mayor of Kharkiv informed journalists, one “Khrushchov” five-stored building needs 25 million hrn to be repaired. It is easier to reconstruct communications and utilities at the place of previous block and to build new houses.
As Gennadiy Kernes informed the question of creating the exchange living fund is under consideration. It is planned to settle the habitants of the old block to the living areas of the fund on the period of new houses building. Apartments in new houses not occupied by the habitants of the old block may be sold through the program of affordable homes and the program of living credits for youth.
«The unfinished building in the area of the city clinical hospital of emergency aid №4 may be used for creating the exchange fund. It is also considered a possibility of breaking and recreating the block of two-stored buildings in Derevyanko st. But first of all we must discuss this possibility with the habitants of the block and receive their agreement”, - the mayor of Kharkiv Gennadiy Kernes underlined.
