France donated about 200 generators to Kharkiv

Enterprises united in the Union of French Carpentry Manufacturers have handed over about 200 generators to Kharkiv.
Today, on January 20, Kharkiv Mayor Ihor Terekhov met with Chargé d'Affaires of the French Embassy in Ukraine Benjamin Roehrig who handed over the humanitarian aid from the carpenters’ union.
The Mayor thanked the French people and the organizers of the action which provided Kharkiv with additional sources of electricity, in particular, Frédéric Taday, director of the specialized publishing house Verre & Protections Mag, who recently visited Ukraine, and Dominique Lambal, director of FenetréA.
‘We are very grateful that today you are saving Kharkiv again, we really appreciate it. Over the past 11 months, you have sent tons of humanitarian aid and medicines to the City’s residents, and now you are making a significant contribution to overcoming the energy crisis caused by the shelling by the russian aggressor. I hope that in the future we will rebuild our City together,’ said Ihor Terekhov.
Some of the generators purchased by the organization will soon be handed over to Kharkiv utilities that are carrying out emergency repair work.
The humanitarian aid to Kharkiv is provided as part of the initiative ‘Carpenters of France for the people of Ukraine’.
