The fan-zone on Svobody square escaped unharmed from stress of weather

The Director of UEFA EURO 2012 in Kharkiv informed about it. She told that only some sections of fan-zone fence were damaged but no harm to VIP-zone or boothes was caused. Besides, sound equipment and power generation was timely disconnected.

The director reported that there were about one thousand people when the weather warning was announced. So it took a couple of minutes to get out fans from the territory of fan-zone. All the staff of fan-zone also left the territory. Only warding staff remained there.

It was also informed that the weather didn't influence the camps with foreign fans as well.
