Scott Stiles, the deputy city manager of Cincinnati, visited the Center for providing administrative services in Kharkiv on November, 14.
Tatiana Chechetova-Terashvili, the managing director of business activity and licensing procedures introduced the work of the Licensing center to American guest. She told that the center gives an opportunity to the entrepreneurs to get all the necessary license applications at short notice.
"To speed up documentation we have computerized passing of all the authorities to the greatest possible extent. Our future mission is to fully computerize the process of receiving all the necessary documentation, what omits the participation of performers in this process. It means that a person is able to receive all the permissions being at office or at home. We are the first in Ukraine who has introduced the system of electronic interaction between applicant and executive sides, we are the first who has united regional and city levels of providing administrative services. We also strive to implement reformative direction. A lot of cities of Ukraine adopted our experience, including Kiev", - Tatiana Chechetova-Terashvili said.
In his turn, Scott Stiles highly appreciated the operation of the center. He informed that such a center has been operating in Cincinnati for about seven years already, and his work is constantly improving.
"When I first entered here I noticed a lot of similar to our center in Cincinnati. A great work is done here. One can really learn a lot from you in creation of such centers. Overall, the operation of such a center is very important for motivation to business activities, attraction of foreign investments. It is important both in America and Ukraine as well. The creation and operation of such centers contributes to development of business environment", - Scott Stiles noted.
