A basketball ground was opened in Leninsky district

The mayor of Kharkiv Gennadiy Kernes, A People Deputy of Ukraine Alexander Feldman, a deputy of Kharkiv city council Fazil Abbasov, president of Basketball Federation of Kharkiv region Vasily Zozulya, a head of administration of Leninsky district of Kharkiv city council Vladimir Nakonechny took part in the event.
A new sports ground was opened on the initiative of the mayor of Kharkiv. It was built for a half of the year, there are four basketball rings on the ground.
«A year ago the current power of the city started its activity. And we have good results. Those people who love their city, love basketball presented you this possibility to go in for sports at this wonderful basketball ground. We are always glad to support initiatives like this one and to give our youth a possibility to develop their sports abilities. Now within our city program we are going to reconstruct school stadiums and built new sports grounds for children and youth to go in for sports in good conditions», - the mayor of Kharkiv admitted.
He thanked the People Deputy of Ukraine Alexander Feldman for his help in the ground constructing. And the People Deputy answered that due to the mayor of Kharkiv Gennadiy Kernes sport constructions of such a level are going to appear in all the districts of the city.
100 sportsmen of Federation of Basketball of Kharkiv region, singing and dancing teams participated in the opening.
