Generators handed over to large families in Kharkiv

Large families living in private homes in Kharkiv received 10 generators.
The gifts were handed over to the Kharkiv residents by the Department for Family, Youth and Sports on the occasion of the International Family Day. This was made possible thanks to the support of the German-Ukrainian Association "BLAU-GELBES KREUZ" and the NGO "Street Way Motorcycle Hub".
The generators can provide electricity for basic household needs for several hours. This will help families survive the power outages that are still happening in some parts of the city.
According to Oleksandr Vlasenko, Director of the Department for Family, Youth and Sports, support for families with children remains a priority for the city authorities in wartime.
"We are grateful to our German partners for their help. Thanks to this support, 53 children will have light and warmth at any time," he said.
