The city will partially reimburse defenders for the cost of sanatorium treatment

According to the decision, 50% of the cost of recreational services will be reimbursed from the budget of the Kharkiv city territorial community to persons who have been disabled as a result of injury, contusion, mutilation or illness while defending their homeland, provided that they receive independent sanatorium and resort treatment in Ukraine.

The remaining 50% will be reimbursed from the regional budget. The cost of a health resort voucher should not exceed UAH 25 thousand. The decision will come into force on 1 January 2025.
