Interfaith meeting was held in Kharkiv

The interfaith meeting was attended by Archbishop of Kharkiv and Slobozhanshchyna Mytrofan, archpriest, military chaplain Hryhoriy Stasiuk, head of the Kharkiv Exarchate of the Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church Vasyl Tuchapets, head of the Kharkiv-Zaporizhia Diocese of the Roman Catholic Church Pavlo Honcharuk, imam-chaplain Khadzhali Mukhammed Ali, chief rabbi of the City of Kharkiv Moishe Moskovych, and others.
They discussed the challenges and difficulties faced by representatives of the faiths. The head of the Сity listened to the representatives of the clergy and noted that the City authorities would provide comprehensive support to religious communities.
 
Ihor Terekhov also thanked the participants of the meeting for their support of Kharkiv and Ukraine and congratulated them on the upcoming holidays.
 
"You give people a sense of calm and trust. The fact that the City can live now is also your merit. I especially want to express my gratitude to the military chaplains who work together with our defenders, defend their homeland and fight for victory," the Mayor said.
